On the face of it, Cajita, should be the antithesis of the values that Fatea holds dear and in many ways it is, but as with any coin, there is a flip side. Cajita is a recording project of multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer Jay Chakrovorty, one that has already made him a darling of Radio 6, with regular radio play from Tom Robinson, Lauren Laverne and Huw Stephens.

Many of the tracks on "Tiny Ghosts" are piano driven with most featuring an almost orchestral score and a choral quality that has been built around the key vocals of A Seated Craft's Alexia Peniguel and yet somehow the album manages to feel stripped back and minimalist, almost organic even.

In some ways it feels like a concept album, the songs almost building on a theme of shaking off the invincibility of youth and moving through the challenges that life puts in the way, some positive, some negative. This a well thought through album, but not one that sacrifices the emotional response of the music to the more cerebral approach of the construction.

That said there are points on "Tiny Ghosts" where it feels more cinematic than personal, but as you move through the lush, deep sounds, you easily find yourself forgiving it for that. This is an album that will allow you to make many discoveries the more you hear it, not just in the narrative, but within the instrumentation and arrangements as well, definitely worth seeking out.
