After 12 years with multi-platinum band Confederate Railroad, McCarver stepped out on the solo trail three years ago, simultaneously persuing his acting career.

'I just Might Live Forever' features three self-penned songs that feature in separate film soundtracks in which McCarver appears.

The album also features the single 'I'm America' which has recently figured prominently in country charts across Europe and America.

McCarver is undoubtably a top player in the country/Americana camp, and his material is sufficiently strong and mercifully devoid of the dreaded overproduction that blights so much of the genre.

If you like your country full on, raw and redneck rough, then Mr McCarver is willing to oblige, he can play a bit too.
