I can remember when I saw Jessica Clemmons support The Overtones at The City Hall in Newcastle. Her voice was very powerful as I remember thinking her voice would be suited to a cabaret audience, which is not a bad thing at all.

However after having a break from The Overtones it appears that Jessica has taken a different direction in music. Now her voice is more suited to the open road and the country air. Jessica has fused together country and western with pop music to create a memorable EP.

One of the songs that I will particularly remember is She ain't me, this song brings out that girl power vibe. Jessica Clemmons is country music's answer to Beyonce, she represents all those girls who have ever fallen in love but couldn't get what they want because 'she' was in the way.

Throughout his album she is very open and honest, telling her listeners about her love life she connects with her audience through the power of her music.

Especially in her song What If, you can hear a mixture of heartache and happiness in her voice. I really enjoyed listening to the piano and guitar work together to create something even Billy Rae Cyrus would be proud of. It's a get up and go Ep that makes you want to, well get up and go.

"Single Tonight" has just been lifted from the EP as a single.
