Andrew Ferris a folk/rock singer-songwriter from Gloucestershire has produced an album entitled Yellow Lorry that is reminiscent of KT Tunstall.

His album is catchy and makes you feel all toasty inside. Andrew's music falls somewhere in between folk-rock and indie-pop with his honest approach to lyrics making him a political performer. For what he lacks in vocals he makes up for in music, he is a talented guitarist.

From his 9 track album, I am a fan of Moving On and The Remainder. Both opposite ends of the musical spectrum they complement each other.

Moving On is a catchy tune that is full of folk jokes that only guitarists can relate to, this song is head banging, toe tapping tune that I rather like it. Andrew has busked his way through Europe only surviving on the money he has made from his performances on the street, this song is the story of this.

The Remainder is quite an emotional song; Andrew puts all his feelings on the line and opens his heart to us as the listener. Being the last track on the album, he has saved the best till last. It is here where we can truly understand and get to the route of where his inspiration comes from to produce this album.

Andrew Ferris is similar to KT Tunstall who has been described as a guitar thwacker, boot stomper, yeller and story teller. The only difference is that Andrew Ferris is still yet to be signed to a record label.
