I have been listening to Jeannine Barry's music online for a while so it was about time she released something. So when I came across Give Me Something I was eager to have a listen and Jeannine Barry has such a stunning voice its incredible the way she is able to fuse together two music genres together to create something more refreshing. The fusion of Pop and Country works rather well, this sort of "collision theory" opens a wide range of listeners for Barry, making it more accessible.

Give Me Something tells a story, you can hear the passion in her voice as her emotional lyrics pulls at your heart strings. This London based singer/songwriter has a beautiful voice that sends you off into this trance of relaxation. Especially in her song Here to Love, I love the acoustic guitar in this. It's a song that you can listen to after a hard day's work.

Jeanine Barry's EP is available on ITunes and Google Play, one of my favourite songs from the EP is Mind Games. It shows off her skills as a songwriter, the song plays games with my mind as I can't fathom out how she has managed to create such a great song as it is powerful and emotional. Taylor Swift eat your heart out, there is a new girl in town as never has the fusion of pop and country never sounded so fresh. And that is what I look for in this genre of music, a upbeat and feel good EP that also puts you in the chill out mood.
