More and more young people are taking the risks of diving into the music world and many are showing that new and fresh talent is available around every corner. Iona Lane from Clapham has created a short EP of cover songs to demonstrate to the world her abilities with the guitar and her sweet voice.

Her acoustic folk style is delicate and gentle and you can feel this straight away in the opening track 'Chain By Design' originally by Blair Dunlop. She does the song justice and really captures the essences of the song but also adds her own energy and feeling into the track making it unique in its own right.

There is good variation in the songs chosen for the EP, with slower songs and slightly faster paced ones to give a bigger example of Iona's abilities. 'We Intertwine' is another good song choice and Iona shows us in these kind of songs what music means and how it can be enjoyed.

The only disappointment with this EP is that it is just an EP, five tracks only scratches the surface of the acoustic and singing abilities. It is clear from the way Iona sings that she has a real connection with the songs, you can almost feel it in her voice.

A great EP, with great things to come.
