Christine Albert hails from Alberta, Canada, home it seems of several talented musicians. Produced by Chris Gage, the eleven tracks on the album, we're all inspired by a series of tragedies. Over a period of time, Albert lost several close friends and relatives; listening to the CD, it is clear that she wrote her way through and out of this dark time.

As such, you could be forgiven for anticipating a morbid, depressing, dark, release. In fact, it is quite the opposite; melodic, well crafted, subtly accompanied, beautiful tracks, which more often than not allude to joy transcending sadness and to life moving on as it invariably does, even without those we love.

Timeless and relatable, I think this is a CD to which many will relate and take comfort from her message.
