Out Of Black, Tiki Black's new album certainly comes out of her shell and uses her creativity to express her emotions. Emotions of fear and pain are constant throughout this album. Especially in her song Etna "Although some pretend it is a weakness to break down/melt down/run down." Her new album is deep and soulful, I feel like I can connect with Black as she her bares her personal feelings within her songs.

I feel like the songs speak to me, such as Free like Smoke: "Are you a victim, a scapegoat? Bad Faith, and when your life is stuck in your throat, Bad Death, Are you born to survive? Bad Fate." I enjoy Tiki's live acoustic instrumentation, simply stunning as it draws you in. The use of the piano and string instruments is for me, hypnotic it sends me on a journey.

After a hard day's work I am now relaxed and can think of nothing but the messages and topics Black is emulating in this Out Of the Black Album. As what she is saying is meaningful and powerful, yet her technique she uses musically is so simple. Her album makes you feel warm and toasty inside. You just have to listen to Open Your Eyes, in which Tiki has created a music video for to realise this. This for me is my favourite song in the album.

Tiki speaks directly to her listeners and creates a relationship that can only be created when you press play and listen.
