These three girls are going to be part of the Blues Caravan in 2015.

To give audiences a taste of what to expect they are releasing this album of nine originals and three cover songs.

Between them they cover a wide range of blues music - from the hard-edged Girl Band to the country- blues infused This House Just Ain't My Home.

The covers are pretty good. Especially the Dave Mason classic Feelin' Alright and ZZ Top's Tush.

Then there is the swing - these girls can surely swing - listen to Give Me A Kiss and Shades of Love - with tasteful understated guitar. Lovely.

The slow blues Say Goodbye works well. The vocals are crisp and the song builds to a satisfying climax.

The guitar-playing throughout is highly skilled without ever going over the top - which is a pleasure.

A well recorded and thoughtful album.

These girls are going on tour this month but their only UK gig will be at The Great Rock & Blues Weekend at Skegness (January 23)

I for one can't wait!
