Ah well. This ain't the Canned Heat I know. There are three veteran members of the band present, but whilst they're playing a selection of the band's greatest hits, along with a couple of fairly pedestrian new compositions, I'm afraid the vocals are stretched to breaking point on occasions, the playing is fairly pedestrian, and there's an air of pretty forced jollity about the whole thing.

The package here is a live CD recorded in Germany on a recent tour, with a DVD of the same set-list. If you saw the tour, you'll be familiar with the set-list, and the package may be of souvenir interest to you. If you didn't, and you're not a Canned Heat completist, I'm not even going to tempt you with a whiff of the Heat at their 60s zenith.

I'd suggest sticking with a greatest hits compilation to avoid disappointment.
