747 is the Nashville trio's sixth album since their self-titled debut back in 2008. They've all hit number 1 and they've all gone gold or platinum. They've picked up seven Grammys and I stopped counting once I'd reached two dozen other awards. All from three folks from Nashville - one of whom couldn't make the first round of American Idol.

Why the success? The answer lies in the eleven 3 minute songs on 747; each is a bite size piece of radio friendly country pop. Up tempo songs, down tempo songs, songs about the past, songs about the future, songs about hope, songs about regret and, of course, a song about drinking.

Modern or not Lady Antebellum do not stray from traditional country themes, there's just a little less fiddle and a little more guitar to go with their pitch perfect harmonies.
