According to the World Wide Web the lotus flower means being totally in love with someone a being forgetful of all that has happened in the past. It means to repeat awakening to the spiritual reality of life.

Jules Rendell's album is exactly that, her music has that uplifting feeling to it. With a jazzy vibe throughout the album, it's not something I am used too yet I rather enjoy it. It is reminiscent of a gospel choir, beautiful chorus voices fused with uplifting melody together it almost acts as a haven for all things music.

I do agree with her that her album is a stunning piece of work both musically and artistically. She plays the piano and the cello as well as writing her own songs for her EP. She is a multi talented artist, certainly giving the likes of Adele, Beyonce and Emile Sande a run their money.

My favourite song is the title track The Lotus Bloom, it is a really peaceful song and it's something you can listen too whilst working as it totally chills you out.
