Swing has always been a catchy genre, it is in its whole nature to have the fast paced tempo and jittery twangs that hook you for the booming voice to come through and get you bopping to yourself (or in public if the mood so takes).

Blue Moon Marquee hit this perfectly and 'Lonesome Ghosts' (Or Goats as I keep typing for some reason, album title idea anyone?) is a real gem for this kind of music. With cool string and a chilled mellow lead vocalist this is the kind of swing that I think can be enjoyed in so many different settings. Whether it be live or just sitting back with your headphones on this music is simultaneously relaxing and invigorating and gives you a nice refreshed feel.

The songs on the album so have some subtle differences that make sure it is varied and not too similar. Whether it is a slightly slower tempo like in 'Troubles Callin' or the mystical manifestation of 'Gypsy's Life' you get a good melting pot of sounds to peak every interest.
