For those reading this expecting Taffy to be a Welsh folk band you couldn't be further from the truth. This Taffy are a Japanese four piece who were over in the UK during July and who are back to these shores at the end of October supporting The Wedding Present. Train is released to coincide with the start of the tour and represents their gentler softer side.

Taken from the album Lixiviate released in June Train is a delicate weave of British underground pop. The second helping Tune in a Jar is a truer reflection of the Taffy sound with distorted guitars. Think how Elastica and Echobelly would sound if they were Japanese and you have Taffy.
