Still chipping away at the public consciousness, Stillman drops this four-track EP to chart his progress since the Blood Dark Sea album and give vent to his frustration at the state of the Coalition's Britain. Targets include malignant media machinations, greedy fat cats, self-serving politicians and above all a deep-seated anger at how everything that should be good about the UK is tainted for the time being.

Musically, it ranges form the swirling rock of the title track to the gentler charms of Soon enough with its acoustic setting. Grit & Blood gives both barrels to the papers, while The Rats' Tale signs off with a seven-minute broadside that segues shoegaze rock with dreamscape pop and on-the-fours indie.
