There are plenty of singing starlets jostling for position in the pop limelight. You've got Tulisa's, Cheryl's and Cher Lloyd's clogging up the airwaves at every turn. If however you like your microphone mistresses a little less polished then look no further than the lovely Liz Lawrence. Already making a name for herself (she's being published by Sony and has a 3-track live EP under her belt); the 21 year old is striking distance from becoming a household name.

'Oo Song' is her latest release; three minutes of clashing emotions, effortless vocals and probably the most catchy tune ever to grace your ears. It's got a constant flow that just travels; you're not entirely sure where it's going to take you but what the hell, buy the ticket and take the ride. Lawrence is simply magic at conducting a story with her music and 'Oo Song' has the power to life you no matter what sort of day you've suffered.

Sweet, melancholic and somehow determined this is one song that will stand out from your overly manufactured crowd. Lawrence has that quiet confidence and gutsy attitude that will (and should) catapult her into the fame that she fully deserves. Oo - get her.
