Jana Kramer, I didn't realise, started out as an actress, famous for her part on One Tree Hill. Her debut self titled CD was produced by legendary Scott Hendricks.

I first came across her on CMT and GAC in the USA this past summer, when the stunning Why Ya Wanna was in the charts. I thought, in all honesty that the rest of the Cd wouldn't live up to the bar set by this song, but it turns out I was wrong.

Clearly Kramer has an ear for a good song and a talent for picking twelve strong songs for a CD. Songs such as I Hope it Rains, Good as You Were Bad, Over You By Now, King of Apology, Goodbye California and When You're Lonely stand up alongside Why You Wanna to provide a surprisingly strong and confident debut CD. I already look forward to seeing where the next one takes her.
