Ellie Lawson has rocked the UK music scene with this fantastic new EP. Back on Track is the first single to be released from the record and is full of the swagger and confidence of a strong and independent woman. The track really stands out with it's pop-and-blues vibe and Ellie's crystal clear voice adds a whole new dimension to it.

Next is the pretty acoustic track Try, and although it's quite simple featuring just her voice and the guitar, it's a beautiful song I feel like listening to all day long. Ellie tells a story through each song on this EP and her songwriting is really showcased in these spectacular songs. The instrumentation in these tracks is a perfect complement to her very versatile vocals and it's great to see Ellie trying different things with her sound in this CD- no two songs sound the same and it's refreshing to see such talent today.
