Album: Double Mind

David Celia spans many genres and touches bass with many influential and iconic artists. He does, however, step out on his own and creates some cracking authentic and honest tunes.

He is obviously influenced by artists such as Tom Petty and George Harrison especially in the opener "Welcome To The Show" with a gentle nod to 80's supergroup Boston . He wears his idols on his sleeve in the majority of this 14 track album and does them no disservice.

For me the standout track is the hypnotic and addictive "Smile, You're Alive". A beautifully executed 6-minute masterpiece whose simplicity and lovingly layered vocals shows a more original and exciting side to David's obvious talent.
