I first came across Lincolnshire native Callaghan several years ago, prior to her move to Nashville. I was even lucky to see her perform a couple of very initimate local gigs. After four years of success in Nashville, touring with artists such as Shawn Mullins, then solo, it is now time for the British public to see what she has to offer.

BBC Radio 2's Bob Harris is already singing her praises, playing her music and even invited her to appear in his recent BBC Four documentary - Bob Harris My Nashville, alongside such revered Nashville artists as, Gretchen Peters, Beth Nielsen Chapman, Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires. Her live performance of her track When You Loved Me was even included in his special "Back to Beth's: A Nashville House concert."

Listening to the CD, it is clear why; crystal clear vocals, great writing and brilliant musicianship. Standout tracks include, Best Year, which chronicles her move to the USA and all the excitement that went along with it, Crazy Beautiful Life, Noah's Song, We Don't Have To Change The World and Parachute.

This could well be the CD that makes Callaghan a household name, so definitely one to pick up a copy of. Whilst you do, look up her summer UK dates; you'll be glad you did.
