The definition of the term yeller is to cry loudly or is a rhythmic cheer.

Brothers Conor and Ryan McAuley from Ireland, have created some beautiful tracks that epitomise the essence of folk. It is great to hear two young lads put their fresh spin on the traditional genre of folk music.

With Conor on guitar and Ryan on banjo, the McAuley brother's music puts you in the mood to chill out and relax. And not cry out loudly but to get your deck chair, place it in the middle of a field, get your straw hat out and sit and watch the world go by.

Especially with their new track of Open Waters, with an Irish flare it takes you to a small country, somewhere where it is always sunny and never rain. The banjo played in this track has essence of that Italian vibe, that sort of music you hear when you are sitting in a nice Italian restaurant. That exotic yet country vibe defiantly owns The Yellers.

Reminiscent of Simon and Garfunkel, the duo have beautiful voices that harmonise well together. Only starting out in summer last year, I reckon these guys are a one to watch out for.
