After their remarkable debut EP Beacon Fires, the release of the single "The Beast of Bodmin Moor" shows a nice and healthy development in the work of this great folk trio. It's a fabulous tune that just never gets boring. Its instrumental beginning makes you curious to get to know it, the chorus makes you sing along and another instrumental part builds up more tension that leads the listener towards the end of the song. Chris Bailey (guitar, vocals), Lee Cuff (vocals, cello) and David Hoyland (percussion/ ukulele, vocals) are great instrumentalists and they sing lovely harmonies together. Let's hope to hear more of them soon.
