Put your coffee down; stop reading the paper and Google Joshy Connor. Seriously you will not be disappointed. Forget about Ed Sheeran as this London based musician is moving into the folk music genre.

Joshy Connor's new album Chronicles is a lovely creation of music, I particular enjoy the way the album has been created into this episodic like structure. None of the songs follow on from each other, yet they all have a strong emotional theme that runs through them. I think that each song has its own little story to tell.

My favourite song from Chronicles has to be Tomorrow, it made me cry with happiness. It is one of those songs that I can truly relate to, after all the stress and chaos in your life being sorted you can now relax and in the words of Joshy Connor himself "look forward to tomorrow".

If you are experiencing a stressful time in your life right now and you feel like all hope is gone then I would advise letting your hair down and listening to this track.

The music has multiple layers. His music is very contemporary but it also has elements of guitar, piano and other wonderful instruments. It all seems to intertwine and flow really nicely, there are mixtures of soft and hard textures of music that when played together they complement each other.

Each song comes across as a different moment or a different feeling within Connor's life; it is like Joshy Connor is creating a reflection of his life through music and I am with on his journey.
