Only a young lad, Jonny Bird from Northumberland has created such a romantic single called Wildfire.

From my hometown, I believe he captures that sense of heritage and togetherness in his music. I enjoyed listening to Wildfire as it is such a romantic piece of music, at the opening of the song you hear a match being struck and that automatically puts you in that mood. It takes you to that place of comfort and warmth, just as if you are around a campfire warming marshmallows over a burning log fire. Together with his harmonies voice, it is simply beautiful and a totally chill out song.

It is hard to believe that he is only 17 as his lyrics are very deep and emotional and you can hear that in his voice. Because it is accompanied by a female vocal it does lighten the tone of the track as I worried that it was going to be deep but like a fire it keeps on burning brightly.

Never burning out of control though, it stays within its limits. Wildfire is a track that has been stripped right back to the basic acoustic style.
