Kiki Dee, best remembered for her duo with Sir Elton John has come back with a new musical genius Carmelo Luggeri. Together they have created a magnificent album A Place Where I Can Go.

A Place Where I Can Go takes me to a place where I can go and relax and enjoy the music sounds of acoustic guitars and beautiful singing voices. This album produced by the pair, bring the folk music down the bare roots of the folk tree. Starting to grow right up into a beautiful album.

It is just so natural in sound. Nothing has been tampered with, just as simple as a few guitars, keyboards, string pads and an Irish Bazouki. None of this reverb or electronic rubbish, it's simply stunning. I am in love with the songs of Horses and Lay Your Wisdom Down, both songs on the album they stick in my head and I don't mind. It just takes me on a journey, a musical pathway to the end where I truly appreciate folk music.

The album gets right into the middle of the sound, digs deep and creates a story and images that will send their fans away floating on the cloud. I feel that this album celebrates the joys of music and truly shows what folk music is all about.

This album also celebrates Kiki Dee's fifty years in music.
