Beardy Folk Festival & Fatea In Collaboration
We're delighted to announce an exciting collaboration with Beardy Folk Festival 2021.
In it's long history, Fatea has been proud to offer extensive coverage of new, breakthrough artists, often being the first publication to give them a review or feature.
2020 was a hard year for live music with solo artists and bands being denied the opportunity to get together, rehearse, create and perform. After a successful 2019, many were on the verge of breaking through. Fatea is proud to be working with Beardy Folk Festival to provide an opportunity for some of those artists to be seen and heard.
Beardy Folk Festival have dedicated the opening spots on this year's Garden Stage to Fatea's "Giving Artists A Voice" banner.

The Meadows are a vibrant, multi instrumentalist, Celtic Crossover folk band drawn from one family. Bringing cutting edge techniques and an exciting, contemporary vibe to their performances, the band play original works which weave between foot stomping reels to rich vocal harmonies, taking their audiences on a spellbinding journey.
Reimagining British folk through a shared teenage absorption in dance music and art rock, Lunatraktors have built up a passionate fanbase through performances at festivals, art galleries, museums, theatres and cabarets. A double act in the old fashioned sense, Clair Le Couteur's channeling voices of multiple tragi-comic characters match Carli Jefferson's hyper expressive performance style.
South-East based folk musician and songstress Lizzy Hardingham is paving her way as a powerhouse performer with "beautifully delivered songs that sing straight to the heart". 2019 saw her storm the UK folk club and festival scene, including Cambridge Folk Festival, while in 2020 she captivated online audiences with "a voice that could fill a stadium and the sensitivity to bring a room to attentive silence". Lizzy is currently being mentored by the English Folk Expo and working on firmly nailing her place as one of the rising stars of the folk scene.
