Megson
Husband and wife duo Stu and Debbie Hanna, aka Megson make a welcome return to Cambridge, just as they made a welcome return to the releasing scene with their recent album, "The Longshot", the first since the birth of their daughter, not that there has been any slacking in the meantime.
Stu Hanna has established himself as one of the most sought after producers in the folk and roots arena, including albums for Show of Hands and Mawkin:Causley, amongst others and in Debbie Hanna a top singer available for the studio work.
That said, it's as Megson they've always most impressed, strong songs, superbly delivered. They've always gone down well at Cambridge Folk Festival and deservedly so. It's been a bit of a while since I've seen them live and I'm definitely looking to correct that and hear songs from "The Longshot" live.
