James Vincent McMorrow

James Vincent McMorrow caused a bit of a stir in his native Ireland, with the release of his debut album, "Early In The Morning", a stir that was reinforced at the international music industry shop window, SXSW.

It's led to a real rise in profile, particularly Stateside, where his songs have been included on shows like, Chuck, Parenthood and Grey's Anatomy, all perfect vehicles for his particular brand of songwriting with an electric folk undertone.

Last year he was one of the acts on the Thursday night, where he made quite an impression. It's unusual to comeback two year's on the trot if you're not a Showcase from the previous year, which should give an idea as to his impact.
