Versatility could be the band's middle name, if Tea hadn't already claimed that gig. They are becoming recognised as one of the best electric ceilidh bands currently on the circuit. I've seen them playing a ceilidh set as well as a standard folk rock set and they definitely impress with both and are still able to throw in the odd shanty for good measure. The band only lost out to The Levellers & The Bad Shepherds for the Fatea Live Award for performance in 2011
The band's debut mini album, "Heavens To Betsy" came out in 2009 and was followed by their first full length album, "Tomorrow We'll Be Sober" at the end of last year, drawing on traditional and contemporary tunes.
With Blackbeard's Tea Party at the helm it's pretty much guaranteed that the ceilidh crowd are in for a very good time indeed.
