Tickled Pink
It's been six years since Tickled Pink last graced a stage at Cambridge and by strange coincidence, there's been half a dozen years since their last album, well both things have been updated in 2011, the self proclaimed enfants terribles of the English folk dance scene are back and the uniting word is "Ceilidh", both the title of their new album and the event they are hosting this year.
The ceilidh at Cambridge brings a whole new definition of perpetual motion. There's a whole lot of energy going to be expended both on and off stage. Basically the rule is if it ain't nailed then it's either going to be dancing or playing.
It's all very inclusive, don't be put off if you've never danced at a ceilidh before this will be a scream all ages and abilities welcome and Tickled Pink will be there to get you through it.
This is Tickled Pink's twenty first year as a band, which is as long as we've covered Cambridge, as Sandy Denny once famously said, "Who Knows Where The Time Goes"
