The Peatbog Faeries
The Peatbog Faeries were one of the first bands to realise the synergies between Scottish music and high energy dance music and fuse the two into a style that has earnt the name 'acid croft' a contemporary sound that draws on ancient tradition.
Previous appearances at Cambridge make it incredibly easy to understand why they have one a number of live music awards in the their native Scotland as they are not an act that you are going to be able to forgot once seen.
As well as fusing their sound, this year Peatbog Faeries are also fusing the band, adding the Wayward Boys to their lineup. As per usual this promises to be a real crowd thriller. The band are down to play Saturday and Sunday, expect to dance and dance hard.
Oh and don't be put off by the bagpipes, acid croft gives them a whole new context.
