Sunday Driver
Sunday Driver opened the Cambridge Folk Festival in the Club Tent back in 2009, they're live performance more than living up to the promises made for them by their album "In The City Of the Dreadful Night" an album that blends Indian music and gothic Victorian folk in an exciting an imaginative way.
The band appeared on a Fatea Showcase Session and went on to win our Innovation award that year and continue to take their music in exciting and interesting directions, whilst staying true to the genres that underpin their sound.
Their stage sets have something of the theatre about them, creating atmospheres that add to their performance, but not at the expense of the music. This is an audio treat that pulls a surprise or two.
If any band is suited to appear in an Indian style marquee under an English summer sky, they pretty much tick every box going.
