Spiers And Boden
As well as being at the spearhead of Bellowhead, John Spiers and Jon Boden, also form award winning duo Spiers And Boden, a smaller, but no less spectacular act that have a formidable reputation for delivering great English folk music with a passion that can match any of their Celtic brethren.
Drawing on Morris and other great tune and song traditions and a top line in between song banter that varies between a comedy set and a history lesson, the duo can be found all around the country entertaining in many a differing size venue. The common link being an audience that shares their love of music.
Individually, in other bands and solo, Spiers And Boden, have played a major part in the current revival of English folk music. To paraphrase John Lewis, 'Never knowingly under performed' an act well worthy of your time.
