Laura Marling
When you hear Laura Marling's songs, it's difficult to believe that she's still only twenty one. Incredibly it's three years since made her Cambridge debut headlining the Thursday night on stage two.
Despite some frankly over the top press, Laura has kept her feet firmly on the ground delivering a steady stream of singles, eps and albums that have shown her not only to be a great singer of songs, but also an artist with a real understanding of arrangements and a sense of intimacy and drama in her songs that sometimes make you feel like a voyeur listening in.
There is something delicate, almost fragile about her performances that belie an inner strength, this may not be the most energy laden set you'll see at Cambridge, but you can be sure it will be one of the most thoughtful and reflective, one that will live on long after the campsite has been packed away.
