James Vincent McMorrow
James Vincent McMorrow caused a bit of a stir in his native Ireland, with the release of his debut album, "Early In The Morning", a stir that was reinforced at the international music industry shop window, SXSW.
It's led to a real rise in profile, particularly Stateside, where his songs have been included on shows like, Chuck, Parenthood and Grey's Anatomy, all perfect vehicles for his particular brand of songwriting with an electric folk undertone.
This will be his first appearance at Cambridge and for many the first real opportunity to catch him live. Live he's been touring extensively where his almost happy go lucky and definitely very up style of performing has been going down extremely well.
Judging by the album, this should be a real heart warming festival debut, with plenty of uplifting exuberance.
