Alex Patterson, Bryony & Grace Lemon
Do not be fooled by the ages of Alex Patterson(16), Bryony(19) & Grace Lemon(14) they have years of experience already behind them. In the case of the Lemon Sisters, that includes previous appearances at Cambridge, even appearing on stage with The Chieftains back in 2007.
I think I'm right in saying that at one time Grace held the record for being the youngest performer on the folk stage, when she did a dance as part of a set by a very young band that I recall being called the Lemon Chicken Band, but I'm happy to be challenged on both 'facts'.
Either way, the sisters have now been joined by now US based fiddle player Alex Patterson, to bring them up to a fully fledged trio. That said, they've known Alex for some seven or so years, having initially met at the Rathmore.
If you like your music traditional and flighty, this should be a real eye and ear opener for you. Even better, there's rumours of an album later in the year.
