Bellowhead
As you would expect from a band that have pick up so many live awards that they've had to have their mantelpiece reinforced, Bellowhead(the current holders of the Fatea Live Performers Of The Year) are playing oodles of festivals this year, bit always seem to have that extra bit of magic when they play Cambridge.
It's not just live awards that this veritable folk palm court orchestra win awards for, with so many talented musicians in the band, it's no wonder that they also pick up nods for recorded works as well. The band recently combined the two, having filmed a yet to be live DVD of their current album, "Hedonism".
I really don't need to sell this one to you, Bellowhead really are something special. They've got that ability to bounce off each other, regardless of if they're doing covers, their own songs, the bawdy between song banter, you can guarantee that they've got entertainment written right the way through them.
