Album: Snowglobe/Funny Bones
Label: Reveal
Tracks: 2

It's a busy time for one of England's finest singer-songwriters. November sees Boo touring the UK - from Devon to Glasgow. December will see the release of a career retrospective with My Name In The Brackets (The Best of Boo Hewerdine and the Bible).

To get us in the mood there is a new single - an edited version of the lead track - alongside an exclusive new song not available on the album.

Snowglobe is a commercially-sounding song with bags of production to push forward for some airplay. It's a strong rhythmic song about relationships being turned upside down (geddit) and wondering if he's just a souvenir. Personally could have done without all the la-la's.

The B-side - or second track - is Funny Bones. It is a stripped down song which starts with just a strong voice and guitar. It is almost hymn-like, with a lovely melody. The single is released on November 3. Recommended.
