Busk Love Folk will be returning to the foyer of the Atkinson Southport again this year on the 16th of February in a brand new format. Supported by Fatea as part of the Love Folk Festival that runs over the 15th and 16th, Busk Love Folk features four half hour concerts and an open mic. Before the music starts there's a music industry work shop and Q&A session and best of all it's all free.
13:40 - 14:10 BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award recipient, MERA ROYLE
15:20 - 15:50 Fiddle singer and songwriter PHOEBE REES
17:30 - 18:00 Solo artist and The Company Of Players' MINNIE BIRCH
19:20 - 19:50 Chester-based indie folk trio MONDEGREEN
Check out the Busk Love Folk preview on Along The Tracks on Blues and Roots Radio at 10pm on Friday 8th November.
Hosted by award winning singer-songwriter GREG HANCOCK, the open mic sessions will be running between the concerts, just turn up and sign up for a slot. There'll be a table to sell your merch from. Come along, bring your instrument and be part of the fun. Sign ups start from 12:30 and the event runs all through the afternoon.
Starting at 11:00 Fatea's Neil King will be running a workshop and Q&A. Focusing mainly on media and publicity, these workshops have been known to go off at a tangent to cover what's important to those that are there. Fatea has now been running for 30 years and been supporting radio shows for more than 8 years so it's a great opportunity to tap into a wealth of experience.

The Fatea Showcase Sessions are a series of downloads featuring acts that we've really enjoyed and think that more people should get the chance to hear.
