Cambridge & Beyond Becomes FATEA (again)

Cambridge & Beyond is changing it's name back to FATEA.
The reasoning behind the change is simple, the Cambridge & Beyond name was starting to cause problems. When the site was originally set up, it's brief was to support the sort of bands that would play Cambridge Folk Festival as an all year round venture.
Clearly, it's gone beyond that and the name is now just causing confusion. Some people think we're about Cambridge based bands and then can't understand why we're based in Dorset.
Cambridge & Beyond was always published by FATEA and most of our other activities are carried out under the FATEA banner. Our mailing address is FATEA. Bands we're never quite sure how to carry quotes that we printed about them. Some used the Cambridge & Beyond title, others went for Cambridge & Beyond/FATEA, others simply for FATEA, well to stop that happening, going forward it's FATEA.
There'll be a lot happening with the site as we move forward in 2007. The first stage is already happening. All new pages in this webspace will now have FATEA as it's header.
Phase 2 will see the traditional FATEA branding, together with is usual logo and a completely new look.
Finally, later in the year, we will be bringing you a more interactive site that will allow you to get news of your bands to our expanding readership more effectively
