Late Diary Dates
We really don't normally do this, but here's some events that you might like to know about if you find yourself at a loose end
Winterlude
Saturday 19th Feb
The much anticipated return of The Betsey Trotwood's amazing away-day! After skipping a year in 2010 once again THE BETSEY BRANCHES OUT FOR A 1 DAY MID-WINTER FESTIVAL featuring a bunch of our favourite acts in all their glory at the lovely 500 capacity Conway Hall. We're putting in our own pub price bar including a selection of real cask ales, real cider and medieval mead, plus pies, pasties and sausage sarnies as well as a tea and cake stand ... and there'll be special guests performing accordion driven French Chanson, '40's Female Acapela and Oboe Fronted Hippy Harmony Music for good measure. With Danny and the Champions of The World headlining and support from The Rockingbirds, John Otway Big Band, Treetop Flyers, Benjamin Folke Thomas Band and the Cedars I'd say this Winterlude will be a good deal warmer, tastier and safer.
