Charles Wells, the country's foremost family owned independent brewer, are sponsoring the Cambridge Folk Festival for the 6th consecutive year. The award winning Bombardier English Premium Bitter will again be the official festival ale.

The Charles Wells Cambridge Folk Festival attracts over 10,000 visitors during the weekend, thus providing the Bedford based brewery with ideal sampling opportunities for it's leading ales Baombatfier and Eagle. Bombardier and Eagle cask ales will be on sale during the event together with the smooth-flow versions, Bombardier U.S.P. and Eagle Smooth to refresh the audience whilst they listen to over 30 internationally respected and highly acclaimed artists.

Last year, festival goers consumned over half a million pints, with Bombardier proving to be a clear favourite. Bombardier is again expected to be the first choice for festival drinkers. Recently the award winning ale has been given an instantly recognisable national profile through the witty use of the St. George's Cross within their advertising campaign.
