Martha Wainwright

Daughter of legendary singer/songwriter Loudon Wainwright III, Martha has been establishing herself as the next generation of the family firm.
Martha put in an iconic performance on her first Cambridge appearance, 2005, when she nearly took the roof off The Radio Two Stage, a job nearly completed by Hayseed Dixie
As well as establishing herself in her own right, Martha can also be found out and about with sibling Rufus.
There is a dark, almost bitter side to Martha's writing. It leads to her putting her all into her performance and giving them a real edge, definitely one to keep an eye out for.
