Jeana Leslie & Siobhan Miller appear at this year's Cambridge Folk Festival, courtesy of winning the Radio Two Young Tradition Award. Part of that prize is an appearance at the UK's premier folk festival, a chance to showcase your talent in front of one of music's most appreciative audiences.
Students at the RSAMD is Glasgow, both artists had been creating a stir in their own rights and as part of other bands. Both Jeana Leslie & Siobhan Miller are recognised for fiddle and piano playing as well as incredible vocals. In her past Siobhan was the youngest ever solo performer at the Celtic Connections Festival, she's also been known to do a bit of step dancing.
Jeana was probably best known as a member of Hadhirgann, with whome she's already toured Canada. She's also performed solo at her home Folk Festival on Orkney.
