The Ukulele Orchestra Of Great Britain have been with us now for some 22 odd years, not bad for a novelty band that formed for a one off gig. They've toured the world selling out concerts on most of the continents. The trick to longevity in a novelty band, is don't do it too often and always find a fresh joke on the theme. It's a lesson the band have learnt well. Of course it helps when you can all play your instruments to a very high degree and have enough of an understanding of music to make sure a song transposes well from it's orginal form intgo one that relies on a collection of four stringed instruments.
I've see The Ukulele Orchestra Of Great Britain before and enjoyed the experience, but for me this one will depend on who the opposition is
