Winners of Fatea Band/Duo of the year in 2006 as well as countless other awards, Show Of Hands make a welcome return to Cambridge.
Phil Beer and Steve Knightly have been putting their songs right on the mark for a good few years now, selling out venues like the Royal Albert Hall along the way. Their songs have touched on politics, emotion, global, national and even local events. I don't think there is a duo or band anywhere that can sum up Yeovil better than Show Of Hands.
It's diffilcult to list the band's strengths in such a small, space, but we'll start with the tunes, the songwriting, the stagecraft and the belief. You don't build up the sort of fan base that this band have got without being able to deliver, both live and on record. Here is a band that is at home wherever it plays because it treats every venue and performance as an individual. The sum of two very strong parts, Show Of Hands are well deserving of your time, not that you needed me to tell you that.
