Oysterband

Having been going for more years than I care to remember, Oysterband, or The Oyster Band as they were back then, have the unique honour of being the last band ever to perform on an outside stage at Cambridge. Both before and since the band have been regulr visitors to Cambridge, as well as the rest of the country with their regular tours and festivals of their own.
Occasionally they are also known to pick up a few additional musicians to add to the core and go out as Oysterband Big Band. In either guise, this is one of the best live bands in the country. Regardless of whether they've been delivering ceilidh music or folk rock, the band have always delivered with a certain amount of panache.
There's a new album to support this year, the first in nearly three years, so there's a lot going for the band at the moment. We've always been fans of this band, if you haven't already seen them, check them out because we're betting you'll be fans to.
