Newton Faulkner

Having been hailed as a star of tomorrow, by no less a luminary than Jimmy Page and much respected by Lyle Lovett, Newton Faulkner has a lot to live up to. Fortunately he seems to be the sort of guy thaty knows where his feet are planted. Supremely confident in his own ability without straying the wrong side of the arrogance line, Faulkner, by all accounts, played a blinder of a showcase last year, that I managed to miss.
This year should see Newton moving up to the bigger stages, as happens with previous showcases. I won't be making the same mistake two years in a row. Mr. Faulkner is close to the top of the must check out list this year.
That Faulkner has attracted the attention whilst barely past twenty speaks volumes, as does his recorded output.
