John Meed

John Meed is the first of the artists to contact us to say that he's got his ticket for the festival and will be having a punt at a chnace to play the Club Tent.
John is a good singer/songwriter that's based in the Cambridge area, so popping home for his guitar shouldn't be a problem, though originally he hails from Manchester.
There's ann acusation that too many singer/songwriters just sing their diary, well so what. It's fair to say that there is a fair ammount of autobiography about both of John's two albums, "Children Of The Sea" and "Powder Of the Stars" released earlier this year. The important thing is that those life experiences have informed songs worth listening to.
It may turn out that Johyn doesn't get a slot, but keep you eyes on the board outside the Club Tent in case his name appears on it.
