Martha Tilston

A member of the awesome Tilston songwriting/performing clan, Martha is really starting to make waves. Her blend of political and romantic songs combined with an on the nail delivery saw her picking up the Favourite Female Vocalist in the most recent Fatea Awards. That she also manages to combine that talent with a prolific output is difficult to behold.
As well as solo acclaim, Martha was part of the duo Mouse, with Nick Marshall. A combo that toured the UK and Europe to much acclaim.
Martha, carries her imaginative slant through much of her life. She funded her debut album by selling paintings inspired by the songs that were due to appear on the album and each picture was included in the sleeve notes. Her innovative approach to album funding has seen her appearing at seminars to help inspire alternative routes for fellow musicians to secure funding.
Martha is here to perform, not lecture, but perhaps, fingers crossed, she might do a workshop. AS for the music, you'll find us right at the front for this one.
